Charles L. Tyburski - Cape Cod Times

Anna S. Tyburski, passed away January 6, 2018 at home, at the age of 93, surrounded by family. Charles was born in Thorndike, MA, on August 24, 1924, the son of John and Victoria Tyburski. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters: Walter Tyburski, Alphonse Tyburski, Steve Tyburski, Genevieve Mastalerz, Veronica Midura, Aurelia Jezyk, and Helen Wdowiak.Charles owned and operated the Countryside Bakery in Thorndike. He was employed in the culinary department at Pathfinder Vocational School in Palmer, MA and also as Head Baker at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He loved nature, animals, studying the weather, skating on the pond in his backyard, taking long walks on the beach, and he especially loved Eastham on Cape Cod, and Rock Harbor in Orleans, MA. The Boston Red Sox was his favorite baseball team, and he was also fond of professional hockey.Charles was blessed with four children: Elizabeth Ann Yargeau of Sandwich, Raymond Charles Tyburski (deceased), Thomas John Tyburski of Thorndike, and Darryl Kevin Tyburski (deceased). He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Matthew E. Tyburski of Las Vegas, Jonathan W. Tyburski of Somerville, Melissa R. Kurkul of Norwood, Tyler Tyburski of Lewiston, ME, Zachary Tyburski of Minot, ME, Alexander Tyburski of Lewiston, ME, and Kaylee Shaughnessy of Dorchester.
